Why use ReactJS versus plain old JavaScript? Imagine you have a web page in an application that has two buttons in different colors. When is ReactJS a good choice for a software application?

This is because ReactJS can reload data on a page without having to reload the entire page. Imagine a web application that includes a set of tiles at the top with summary data and a data table below with detailed row-by-row information, and that the data in the tiles needs to be updated automatically when it changes on the backend. React can handle updates to each tile or to the data table without having to refresh the entire page.
